What will you be doing?
As a Procurement Analyst, you’ll help to drive change in a procurement team, that has historically been transactional, into a strategic function. The company has mainly sourced from the UK & Europe but is low looking at Low Cost Country Sourcing and the data available needs to show insight to the procurement team so they can be proactive when sourcing new materials and liaising with existing suppliers across all categories where the spend can be c.£8million. Your insight and ability to present this data succinctly will allow the team to work more collaboratively with existing suppliers and explore new sources from your findings.
You’ll need to be proactive, diligent and really want to make a difference with a business that is maturing and just starting to reap the benefits from having a new procurement lead that is looking to develop both the function and its people.
Who will you be doing it for?
You’ll be joining a high value, low volume manufacturing business that supplies all over the world. They have both established and new talent in their team and are looking to take advantage of an under-utilised function to drive out cost to one that embraces new ideas, new processes, in order to optimise and grow.
